My friend! You are a wizard of the art of enchantment, your work of art is of unimaginable perfection! Bugatti's creations are in themselves art of the highest quality, reproduced here in the most minute detail at the difficult 1/8 scale! Congratulations on your dedication!!!

I was lucky enough in my life to meet Jean-Paul Fontenelle impasse Givois in Vichy in the 2000s, the owner of Art-Collection-Auto, and to become so accustomed to his 1/8th Bugatti models that I built a B35 GPL chassis after ordering two models from him, a B37 with spoke wheels, and another blue B35 with red leather seats. It was in his workshop that I met Laurent Pierson: he had in mind the creation of a 57, and was looking for a chassis on which to mount the wooden skeleton of an Atalante! This model appears as the first in his new catalog, a superb catalog, filled with sublime photographs that magnify his own creations: my meeting dates back to 2005, and Laurent was already looking to over-detail his models, adding all the functional and precise details that make his creations so original. As I was modestly looking to create new 1/7th scale 1927 Citroên Jouets, and wanted to build a Normande B14 with its «half-timbered» rear end, Laurent explained how to go about it, and provided me with the appropriate material! Today, Laurent Pierson is renewing the art of the Compagnons, reviving the Mécanique d'Art of the Arts et Métiers of yesteryear, while sublimating the artistic talent of Jean Bugatti, much to our delight.

I hope to work well enough so that one day Santa Claus will bring me one of these wonderful models. This website is a reflection of the artist that is Laurent Pierson. Thank you for delighting our eyes. Pat
