Atalante Type 57SC n°57502 1937 Exceptional scale model

It is certainly the car with box number 9, and in any case the first of the three new Atalante 57S sold in England. The first mention of the car was, on 7 June 1937, his departure for the tests on the road circuit, with the plate of Usine 1245W5 in the hands of Pierre Marco.

The car came out of the body on May 5, 1937. She was black and blue, inside pork skin. At the time of delivery, she wore the factory plate 1127W5. The car was delivered on 9 June 1937 to the Bugatti Sorel dealership in London for Lord Howe.

It's at Earl Howe's home, « Penne House», Amersham, which was delivered in June 1937 his Bugatti 57S Atalante. The 57S was painted in two shades, black box and blue flanks. The cut of the blue flanks on the Atalante 57S was the signature of Earl Howe. The 57502S Atalante is featured in the catalogue of the London dealership of 1937 in a photo taken at the time of delivery.
